Medical Oncology

The Medical Oncology Department is a multidisciplinary oncology/hematology resource with a full spectrum of preventive, diagnostic, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services provided by Hematology Oncology Physician Enterprises (HOPE). In conjunction with other Augusta Health departments, the Cancer Center provides pharmacy, nutrition services, social services, laboratory, physical therapy, chaplain services, volunteer services, radiology, inpatient services, home care, and hospice to oncology outpatients.

Board-certified oncologists/hematologists provide medical direction, and most of our registered nursing staff is certified through the Oncology Nursing Society. They are trained to develop specialized care plans, monitor your progress, and revise your care as needed.
