Gift Award Criteria
The Augusta Health Foundation is committed to promoting the health and well-being of the residents in the greater Augusta County area. Gift awards are one way that the Augusta Health Foundation chooses to support local non-profit organizations in their quest for improving the quality of life for our citizens. Gift award requests may be submitted to the Executive Director of the Augusta Health Foundation at any time during the year. Requests up to $2,500 will be considered for a Gift Award. Any need over $2,500 must be submitted as a Grant proposal, which requires a full application (see Single Year Grants).
A letter of request must be submitted for consideration.
The letter must contain the following information:
- Name of the non-profit organization on official letterhead
- Name of individual submitting the request and relationship to the organization
- Contact information of the submitting individual
- Description of the need to be addressed with the award
- How the award will promote the health and well-being of the population served
- Expected outcomes and impact from the award
