Fitness Programs
Our fitness staff is committed to helping you meet your exercise goals! One of our qualified professionals is always available to help answer any questions you may have. We offer a wide range of programs to help both new and seasoned exercisers get the most out of their experience here at Lifetime Fitness. In addition to new member orientations, our staff members lead periodic wellness workshops, equipment demos, and exciting retention programs.
All new members have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive fitness test and an orientation to our facility. This experience will serve to educate and offer solutions on how you can meet your fitness and wellness needs. Our qualified staff will help connect you to the Lifetime programs and services that will offer you your best chance for success!
Assessments
New members who have physical ailments, chronic diseases or conditions are recommended to meet with our Exercise Physiologist for an assessment. It takes approximately 10-20 minutes to discuss your limitations or any modifications needed in your prescribed exercise routine.
Fitness Tests
Our Microfit tests assess resting heart rate, blood pressure, cardiovascular endurance, body composition, muscular strength and endurance, and flexibility. Results show how your fitness level compares with others of the same gender and age. Our fitness tests take place in a private, quiet space where members will feel comfortable. We also offer a "alternative fitness test," a gentler test available as an option for those ages 60-95 or for anyone with orthopedic or other limitations.
Orientation
Every new member has the opportunity to complete an orientation with a member of our Fitness Floor staff to become familiar with the facility and have a personalized workout created. Whether your interest is weight lifting, functional training, aerobics, cardiovascular exercise, or any
combination of these, we'll design the right workout program for you. Dress in comfortable fitness clothing with close-toed shoes and be prepared to go through your workout program.
