Nursing Treatment Center
The NTC typically sees patients who have a need for a treatment that is ordered by a physician but do not need to see a physician for the treatment. A Licensed Nurse can perform these treatments and procedures.
The Nursing Treatment Center (NTC) was designed and perfected with every last detail for optimal patient comfort and staff efficiency. There are 10 total patient treatment areas, a waiting room for family members, and a nursing workstation. The unit is staffed with Licensed Nurses who are experienced in the care that is provided in the NTC. Since opening, the number of treatments and procedures done in the NTC has grown to over 300 each month.
Some of the procedures performed in the Nursing Treatment Center include:
- Blood Transfusions
- IV Fluid Transfusions
- Wound Care
- Migraine Headache Treatment Protocols
- Various Medication Infusions
- Injections
- IV Line flushes
- Enemas
- Catheter Changes
- Cadd Pump Changes
