Defining our Community's Health Needs

As part of Augusta Health's commitment to the community, we coordinate—with the collaboration and input of many organizations and agencies across all sectors of our community—a regular and comprehensive Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). Our first CHNA was in 2009, and the next in 2012/2013. Now in 2016, we are in the process of conducting a third CHNA, and expect to have our research and reports completed by the end of summer.

The final CHNA Report and Implementation Plan for Augusta Health will be posted as they are completed. As part of the research process, a community Prioritization Session was held on June 16, 2016, that included preliminary results of the greatest areas of opportunity to improve the health status of the Staunton, Augusta County and Waynesboro community.
