National Trails Day (June)
Do you want to live a healthier and more active lifestyle? Then join us in observing National Trails Day on June 5th, where we are encouraging everyone to get up and TAKE A HIKE! Augusta County and the surrounding cities have striking, scenic trails that are an excellent way to experience nature and walk for your health.
National Trails Day, sponsored by the American Hiking Society, raises awareness about the benefits of trail hiking by encouraging people to get involved in the community and exercise in the natural world to improve physical and mental health. You can join in the effort by locating one of the trails listed below and exploring all the Shenandoah Valley has to offer! Take a Hike for your Health!

Another great way to get involved in outdoor activities is to visit one of the beautiful parks Augusta County has to offer.
