Memory Leaves
Activities

Camp Dragonfly activities are designed to guide campers gently and slowly through some of the emotions of grief. Campers interact in memory book sessions, make a memory collage, attend a question-and-answer period with a physician, and take part in a remembrance ceremony. Fun is also a top priority at Camp Dragonfly. Campers learn it is not disrespectful to the memory of the person who died to laugh, play, and have fun. Activities include arts/crafts, music, swimming, team games, and archery.

Volunteers

There is an excellent camper-to-volunteer ratio. Campers are divided in small groups according to grade level with adult leaders. The professional staff of Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah directs the camp program.
