Postpartum Women's Group - Virtual
The birth of a new baby can be an amazing and overwhelming time. This FREE service, offered through the generous support of the Augusta Health Community Benefit Endowment, is being provided as a support for mothers of new babies who may be struggling with depression, anxiety, and/or general adjustment to having a baby and changes in the household.
This group provides a safe space for women to be open and honest with how they are feeling and to know they are not alone. We will focus on building coping skills, interpersonal supports, self-care practices, and, if needed, refer for additional services.
Weekly virtual group sessions Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:00 pm.
Groups will run for 8 weeks with rolling enrollment - participants can join at any time. This service will work in partnership with other postpartum services being offered by Augusta Behavioral Health. The first virtual group will meet on Thursday, March 4th via WebEx
