Learn N' Grow Child Care Hours

Wednesdays and Fridays: 9:00am – 10:00am & 10:15am-11:15am

We are happy to begin child care in Learn N' Grow Clubhouse for children aged 3 – 7 years old. We are offering 2 morning sessions on Wednesday and Friday mornings. We may expand hours in the future as we continue to gradually reintroduce various programs and services.

Reservations: We ask parents to reserve spots for child care 24 hours in advance. There is no charge for child care if you have a reservation.

If you do not make a reservation there is a $5/child drop in charge. So we can staff accordingly please canceled your reservation with 12 hours' notice. There will be a $5/child no show charge

Telephone Reservation:

Reservations can be made in advance by calling (540) 332-5433 option 2.

Member Portal Reservation:

  1. Make a reservation in our Member Portal. Visit our member login portal. Select the Kid Care icon, in the dropdown menu select Add Reservation.

  2. You will need to login with your unique username and password

  3. If you are a member who has never used the online member portal, call Membership Services at (540) 932-5843 to set up your account.

  4. If you have forgotten your username or password, click on Forgot your username/password? You will be asked to enter your email associated with your membership account. Enter your email address and you should receive an email with your username and temporary password. Upon logging in with this information, you will be prompted to update your new password. Please note: If you get a popup message that says that your email address is not found, please contact the membership office at (540) 932-5843 to update your account information with us.

  5. Once you are logged in, Choose your Date, Start Time (9am or 10:15am) and Duration (1 hour maximum) per child per day.

A. Then select each child you would like to bring at that time.

B. Click Complete Reservation

Cancel your Reservation:

To cancel your reservation, please call (540) 332-5433 option 2 or reservations can be canceled in the member portal.

Guidelines

Please review our current guidelines before your first visit with us.

Visits are currently limited to 1 hour per day per child.

Capacity: 8 children per hour.

Social Distancing Practices

  • We are distancing children 6 feet apart. Children within the same household will be grouped together for activities and games.

  • Children, ages 3 and up, will be required to wear mask or cloth face covering.

  • All employees wear masks.

Check In/Out

  • Only one parent/guardian should check in/out child.

  • Children and parent temperatures will be taken with a touchless thermometer at check-in by a child care team member. Anyone displaying a temperature of 100.4°F or higher OR experiencing signs or symptoms of illness will not be allowed access. Our employees are also temperature screened and screened for illness prior to each shift.

  • Parents should not bring their child(ren) if they or anyone within the household has a low-grade fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, any other signs of illness or contact over the past 14 days with anyone with a respiratory illness or a COVID-19 diagnosis.

  • Parent will sanitize child's hands at the hand sanitizer station prior to the child entering the area.

  • Only children who are toilet trained can be dropped off in Learn N' Grow.

  • Please bring a filled water bottle labeled with your child's name. Our water fountains are not available during this time.

  • Parent/Guardian must stay on the Wellness Center property while the child is in our care. Please let our child care team member know where you will be in the facility in the event we need to reach you.

  • Our child care team members will encourage children to practice social distancing and will employ activities that do not require shared materials. Toys and games will be sanitized after use between households.

  • Child care areas will be cleaned with appropriate sanitizing solutions throughout operational hours and at the conclusion of each day.
