Emergency Department Entrance Moving on July 10
Augusta Health's Emergency Department Entrance will move 'around the corner' on Monday, July 10 as part of the Emergency Department Expansion project. The current public walk-in entrance will be closed and inaccessible. The new public entrance is the original ambulance entrance. This temporary entrance will be in place until the new construction phase of the project is completed.
Cars and other vehicles may drive up the current ambulance circle to drop off patients at the new entrance. Signage and new road striping will guide the way through the new traffic pattern. There will be a greeter or valet at the entrance. Valet parking is free for patients, and using the valet service is the easiest way for patients to park and access the new entrance.
