Today we conducted a Code Pink Drill
This morning Augusta Health conducted a Code Pink Drill.
A Code Pink Drill is required on a regular basis to test the systems and procedures that would be activated in the event of an infant abduction. There was no real baby involved, although the doors really did lock down for a period of time and on-site, working staff responded as they would have in a real incident. The drill was a successful test.
Many thanks to our staff, patients and visitors who had to remain in place while the drill was in process and the system and locks were tested.
