Why did you choose your specialty area?
The field of Rheumatology is very broad and has many challenging but exciting opportunities for us to help our patients. With the vast development of biologics and research into the pathenogenesis of various disease entities, there is exponential growth and potential to aide in improving the quality of life for so many people. I thoroughly enjoy the relationships and communication I build with my patients throughout the outpatient setting.
How do you spend your spare time?
I love to travel the world and explore new countries while learning and embracing various traditions and cultures. I also enjoy spending time outdoors—from hiking to water activities to playing various sports, such as tennis.
#1 health tip that you can offer:
Get enough sleep, drink enough water, and stay active.
