Rehab Unit Dedication and Teamwork

Giving People Their Lives Back...

Excerpts from a letter from Clinton Webb of Middlebrook, Virginia, who fell 13 feet and destroyed his shoulder, broke four ribs and had a 'shattered and scattered' pelvis broken in 34 places. He was concerned that he would be in a wheelchair and would not be able to return to his normal life. Mr. Webb was transferred to Augusta Health's Skilled Nursing Unit/Rehab about three weeks after his injury.

"All of the sudden I was surrounded by staff and professionals at Augusta Health who genuinely cared about me and my condition... I can tell you that for as long as I live, I will be telling people about the loving care I received at Augusta Health. How the nurses, therapists, and other staff members touched my life with exceptional care."

It's called commitment, dedication and teamwork...

"All you good people gave me hope and encouragement. Had that not been done, I would probably be in a wheelchair today. But very much because of everyone at Augusta Health, I have now returned to work 9 months after my fall. I am 71 years old and I am walking, climbing up into and out of over-the-road trucks and driving an average of 3,000 miles per week."
