It's the little things that make a difference.
In the past the children from the Augusta Health Childcare Center have enjoyed visiting with Skilled Nursing and Rehab and the staff in the Finance Building to participate in some safe fun Trick or Treating. This year however, due to the increased flu activity and the associated policy changes, the children were not able to conduct their usual visits.
But not to worry, Skilled Nursing and the staff in the Finance Building did not let the children miss out on any fun! They took the initiative to contact the childcare center to find out how many children we had and prepared goodie bags for them all.
The Friday before Halloween all of the children participated in a costume parade with classroom Trick or Treating right here at the Childcare Center. There were plenty of goodies for everyone and everyone had a wonderful time, thanks to the thoughtful actions, professionalism, excellence and teamwork, demonstrated by our Augusta Health coworkers.
