Become a Volunteer Chaplain
Augusta Health Volunteer Chaplains are specially qualified clergy from a variety of backgrounds and faith traditions. They bring clinical credentials and diverse life experience to this ministry. Upon acceptance into the program, our chaplains participate in the life of the Augusta Heath community and continue to grow as clinicians through staff education and our clinical training programs. We are a Category One Training Center for the American Association of Pastoral Counselors (AAPC), and host Clergy Consultation groups that provide an opportunity for participants to meet AAPC standards for "Pastoral Care Specialist."
Please contact the Augusta Health Volunteer Services Office for information about joining our chaplaincy program at (540) 932-4740 or (540) 332-4740.
