Breast Cancer Awareness: Life before, during and after the disease

October is #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth! This week on WHSV’s Now on 3, Sherry Cook, breast cancer survivor, discussed the highs and lows of becoming a breast cancer survivor.  

We also heard from Augusta Health’s Robert Kyler, MD, Radiation Oncologist, about the importance of early screening and detection, and Angie Shy, Quality & Accreditations Coordinator, about the different aspects of survivorship.
