Occupational Therapy Careers
What You’ll Do:
As part of our Occupational Therapy team, you’ll help patients participate in the activities that matter most—getting dressed, preparing a meal, returning to work, or engaging in hobbies they love. You’ll assess their abilities, identify challenges, and develop creative, adaptive strategies to promote safety, comfort, and independence.
You’ll collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and other rehabilitation professionals to deliver individualized care. From helping a stroke patient relearn fine motor skills in inpatient rehab to supporting someone in behavioral health to build coping routines, you’ll see your impact in every step toward recovery and self-sufficiency.
Qualifications:
- Occupational Therapist (OT): Current Virginia OT license and BLS certification
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA): Current Virginia COTA license and BLS certification
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a focus on patient-centered care
