Skilled Nursing Care

A full range of nursing services are provided by licensed registered nurses. This may consist of medication and disease management, as well as symptom management after hospitalization. Nurses can provide teaching, IV therapy, wound care, diabetic care, cardiac and respiratory assessment, pain management, and catheter care.

Physical Therapy

Licensed therapists will provide skilled intervention for improving activity tolerance, increase functional independence, increase ambulation safety with appropriate assistive devices and fall prevention. Physical Therapists will also assess the home and make recommendations for safety and modifications to improve functional accessibility.

Occupational Therapy

Licensed therapists assist the patient to return to the previous level of functioning in areas such as bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, toileting and home management skills. They also evaluate the need for adaptive equipment to facilitate the return to prior level of independence and mobility.

Speech Therapy

Licensed therapists will evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, swallowing, and voice disorders.

Medical Social Workers

Social workers assist the patient and family with care planning, adjustment to illness and assisting with obtaining community resources.

Home Health Aides

Aides provide care to patients in areas such as bathing, grooming, and dressing to help support families during the recovery process.
