Key Responsibilities

The Administrative Director of Community Outreach and Community Partnerships directs Augusta Health’s Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and its CHNA Implementation Plan by engaging the Community Partnership Committee, and internal interdisciplinary teams, working with external community organizations, and directing the activities of the Community Outreach and Partnerships Department. The leader will be responsible for the corresponding development of strategic partnerships with community stakeholders and their organizations to improve the health of the
community and further the mission of Augusta Health. 

In addition, the Administrative Director will ensure compliance with IRS Community Benefit rulings to expand the health system’s outreach to the community to ensure adequate annual community benefit outcomes.
