We are available to provide public gatherings for remembrance in the Bonin Family Meditation Room (formerly the Sandra Bonin Anderson Chapel), which has been renovated. It is a welcoming space to people of all faiths, beliefs, and spirituality. The renovation was made possible through the generous support of donors to the Augusta Health Foundation, including the Bonin Family, Martin Lightsey, and many Bonin family friends. The beautiful, calming space will be a place of reflection, respite, and comfort for patients, families, visitors, and Augusta Health team members.
Please visit the Meditation Room when you need to find a moment of peace in your day or just to pause and reflect. It is located on the 2nd floor of the main hospital, near the surgery waiting space.
Chaplains are available 24/7. To reach a chaplain for spiritual care needs please contact the Chaplaincy Services office at 540-332-4744, or for immediate needs you may access the Chaplain on-call schedule on the SPOK Directory – New Physician Call Schedules (scroll down to “Chaplain Support”).
Augusta Health offers chaplaincy services, designed to meet the religious and spiritual needs of patients, and patients’ families while in the hospital. Our chaplaincy services team consists of Augusta Health team members and volunteer chaplains. Each of these spiritual care providers has been trained to be a part of the interdisciplinary team providing care to the whole person.
The mission of Chaplaincy Services is to provide clinical spiritual care to all people regardless of race, culture, age, sex, religion, sexual identification, or financial status to promote health and improve the well-being of patients, patients’ families, and Augusta Health team members.
