Bio:
Dr. Otteni has practiced exceptional quality orthopedic surgery and sports medicine in the Shenandoah Valley for over 20 years. He is the only orthopedic surgeon in the central Shenandoah Valley to be subspecialty certified in Orthopedic Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS) in addition to his general orthopedic surgery board certification. He has a special interest and additional fellowship training in sports medicine and shoulder surgery, including shoulder replacements. He enjoys guiding his patients through their recoveries from surgery and ensuring that they return to their full potential. When not actively caring for his patients Dr. Otteni can be found spending time with his wife and three sons, usually outside either on his bike, or on his skis, or playing soccer, golf, or tennis.
