As a nonprofit hospital, Augusta Health is focused on enhancing the health of all individuals and families and strengthening the community we call home. Community Outreach leads initiatives such health screenings for those at-risk for multiple chronic diseases, programs designed for those with barriers to accessing healthcare services and services designed for those who are food insecure.

In the winter of 2017, Allegheny Mountain Institute (AMI) and Augusta Health came together with a shared vision for a Farm-to-Institution project that would bridge the gap between quality health care and access to nutritious, locally grown food.
