Augusta Health has partnered with Virginia Department of Health (VDH) and Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation to help women get lifesaving breast screenings.
In addition, Every Woman’s Life covers free Pap tests.

Programs Explained
Every Woman’s Life (sponsored by VDH) is a federal and state-funded program that covers mammograms and PAP tests.
To be eligible: 40 years and older with no insurance and a household income of 250% or less.
*Women between ages 18-39 may qualify for diagnostic testing,
Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation covers breast services only.
To be eligible: No age restriction and can have health insurance with a household income of 400% or less.

What happens if you have breast or cervical cancer?
- Every Woman’s Life does not cover the costs of cancer treatment. You may be eligible for Medicaid. We can also connect you to other resources like Augusta Health’s financial assistance
