Robotic-assisted surgery is a minimally invasive surgery using high-tech instruments.

Our specially trained surgeons use the da Vinci Xi Surgical System® to perform a wide range of delicate and complex operations.

Here’s how it works:

  1. During a procedure, the surgeon is seated at a console while viewing a magnified 3-D image of the patient.
  2. Aided by a specially trained team of nurses, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs, the surgeon controls the interactive robotic arms that hold surgical tools.
  3. The tiny “fingers” of the robot allow the surgeon to make smaller incisions with greater precision, reducing risk to the patient.

“Robotic surgical procedures provide for a faster recovery time, as well as less pain and blood loss.”
