A Nursing Team with Heart

Our nursing staff is the heart of our care team, delivering hands-on support with warmth, compassion, and clinical excellence.
Whether helping you through labor, encouraging your first breastfeeding latch, or offering gentle newborn care, they are by your side with empathy and reassurance.

Whole-Person, Whole-Family Care

We support natural birthing interventions like movement during labor, hydrotherapy, and delayed cord clamping.
Our team fosters early bonding through breastfeeding support, skin-to-skin contact, and delayed newborn bathing.
Mother/Baby care extends beyond birth, ensuring that both mother and baby thrive physically and emotionally.

After Discharge

Follow up with your child’s pediatrician or other doctors soon after discharge. If you do not have a pediatrician, our staff can provide you with options.

At Augusta Health, our care for you and your baby continues even after you leave the Birthing Center. Our dedicated pediatricians, neonatal nurse practitioners, and nurses will review everything you need to know about caring for yourself and your baby — feeding, recovery, warning signs, and follow-up care.

Together, we make your transition home smooth and confident, with ongoing support and resources just a call away.
