Andrew Vranic, MD

Dr. Andrew R. Vranic, MD, FCCP, is a board-certified Pulmonary and Critical Care physician joining the Augusta Health Pulmonology and Critical Care team. He previously served at the University of Maryland Shore Regional Medical Center, where he was ICU Director from 2019 to 2023. Dr. Vranic completed his fellowship at the University of Virginia, where he was named Chief Fellow and Fellow of the Year. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians with clinical interests in interstitial lung disease, critical care, and medical education. He has authored peer-reviewed research and remains active in teaching and hospital quality initiatives.
