Our Respiratory Therapy & Pulmonary Lab offers a full range of pulmonary function testing including:
  • Lung volumes
  • Carbon monoxide diffusion studies
  • Pre- and post-exercise studies
  • Arterial blood gas studies
  • Simple pulse oximetry

To help determine a diagnosis and treatment plan, our pulmonologists use the following tools:
  • Laboratory testing
  • Spirometry (common test to measure your breathing)
  • Chest X-rays
  • CT scanning

Better Breathers
The Better Breathers Club helps patients, families, and caregivers learn better ways to cope with chronic lung disease through:
  • Regularly scheduled, in-person or virtual support group meetings
  • Connection with others in similar situations
  • Educational presentations from an American Lung Association trained facilitator on topics such as breathing techniques, nutrition, exercise, treatment options, and many more
