Bio:
Dr. Meghan Gaare is a psychiatrist who is board certified in both adult and child/adolescent psychiatry with additional fellowship training in eating disorders. She has experience in telemedicine, academic medicine, and the care of Veterans. Dr. Gaare has held clinical roles at a number of institutions including with the Veterans Affairs system (as a Telemedicine Psychiatrist for the Carl Vinson VA Medical Center in Dublin, Georgia) and at the University of Virginia.

Committed to improving mental health care access and quality, Dr. Gaare has particular interests in rural health and evidence-based care.

Education:
Undergraduate School: Stanford University
Graduate School: Master of Public Health from Harvard University, where her practicum focused on quality improvement in mental health care delivery.
Medical School: University of Virginia School of Medicine
Residency: General Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital
Fellowship: Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Virginia; Eating disorders through University of Maryland at the Center for Eating Disorders at Sheppard Pratt
