Private Bedrooms
The house has four private bedrooms, each with its own bathroom and patio garden area. Comfortable furnishings can accommodate overnight stays by family members. Personal items may be added to the rooms, and pets may visit too.
We are proud to offer residents a warm, supportive environment for the final stage of life.
Opened in 2009, the Shenandoah House provides a comfortable home-like environment to eligible hospice patients needing general inpatient acute or respite care. The house has 4 bedrooms and accommodates patient, visitor, and family needs and respects individual independence and dignity. The hospice house has 24 hour compassionate care provided by RN’s, LPN’s and volunteers. Augusta Health Hospice of the Shenandoah professional staff supports patients and families residing in our facility.
We need the support of our community to ensure the successful operation of the Shenandoah House. You can help by making a financial donation, providing needed supplies and services, or volunteering your time.
