Amy Mumbauer, MPT
Originally from Halifax, Virginia, Amy Mumbauer now lives in Mount Sidney and serves as a physical therapist with Augusta Health. Amy is passionate about helping patients overcome physical challenges, regain independence, and return to meaningful activities.
She specializes in neurologic rehabilitation, including care for individuals with spinal cord injuries, stroke, traumatic brain injuries, ALS, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease. Amy also has expertise in wheelchair and seating evaluations, adaptive equipment recommendations, and amputee rehabilitation.
In addition to her clinical work, Amy serves as an adjunct instructor with Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences, teaches wheelchair and seating courses, and helps lead the Augusta Health Neuro Community Support Group.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys gardening, reading, knitting, pickleball, running, and spending time with her two miniature donkeys, Mabel and Millie.
