Karla Samman, PT, DPT, Cert. DN

A native of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, Karla Sammann now lives in Fort Defiance and is proud to provide physical therapy care to the community she calls home. As a physical therapist with Augusta Health Outpatient Physical Therapy, Karla is committed to helping patients overcome pain and injuries so they can return to the activities they love.

Karla has clinical interests in adult and pediatric orthopedics, sports rehabilitation, pregnancy and postpartum care, amputee rehabilitation, and geriatric therapy. She incorporates compassionate, evidence-based practices to create individualized treatment plans that support each patient’s goals, recovery, and long-term wellness. Karla is also a Certified Dry Needling practitioner.

Her mission is: “My goal is to use personalized and evidence-based care to help people with pain/injury, post-surgery, or post-amputation get back to doing what they need and want to do.”

Outside of work, Karla enjoys gardening, hiking, and staying active through exercise. When she has time to relax and recharge, her favorite destination is the lake.
