Marian Updike, MS, OTR/L, CLT

A lifelong member of the Staunton community, Marian Updike is proud to serve patients in the area she calls home. As an occupational therapist with Augusta Health Outpatient Therapy, Marian is dedicated to helping adults regain independence, improve function, and participate more fully in the activities that are meaningful to them.

Marian specializes in adult neurological rehabilitation and lymphedema care, providing individualized treatment focused on each patient’s unique goals and needs. Through compassionate, evidence-based therapy, she helps patients navigate recovery, manage conditions, and improve their quality of life.

Outside of work, Marian enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, children, parents, sister, and extended family who all live nearby. She loves being outdoors, whether riding her horses, hiking, running, or exploring nature. When it comes to vacation, she enjoys relaxing at the beach, especially destinations with beautiful blue or emerald waters.
